“Counterfeit” - Literary Death Match Ep. 26, organized by Opium magazine, Bowery Poetry Club, New York City, 20 May, 2010. “Counterfeit” is a later Pale Weed Bender story. I read with Melissa Febos, Mike Topp, and Mike Edison. A piñata and many sex acts were involved.
“The Wound” - Prospect 1 reading series, curated by poet Curtis Jensen, Prospect Park, Brooklyn, 22 May, 2010. “The Wound” is an early Pale Weed Bender story. I read with Curtis, poet Katie Byrum, and fellow fictionist (Curtis’s term) Mardi Jaskot. I also answered copious questions about The Pale Weed Bender. The dogwoods were in bloom in the Park.
